Thank you for this post. We were recently at the JFK library in Boston where We saw about 100 people going through their naturalization ceremony. They had all come here legally, learned the language and learned the constitution. Young and old and from many different backgrounds they came. They were so happy, waving flags taking pictures of each other. It was really heartwarming to see in this day and age where our country gets put down so much and we are told that anybody can come here illegally And deserve a full rights

Good topic. I remember when I was growing up the pledge of allegiance and I think it inspired patriotism and respect for our country and the flag. If you have traveled to other countries you would see how much better we have it here.
