The sooner that you can catch the thought or emotion that arises, the easier it is to take a look at it and analyze it. It takes a lot of practice and patience.

It can be very therapeutic to write your first response out …. read it to your self or out loud and then re-write in a way that will serve you better. A great way of letting go of feelings that don’t serve you.
