This is the thing I struggle with the most. The culture is not what I want it to be, I take actions to try to change it and the feedback loop is so long that it is hard to tell if it is working. Thankfully the culture at the top (owners through managers) is strong and consistent. I feel like those at the lower levels often work to their own benefit without regard for the team. It leads to constant tension to get them on board. Perhaps this is normal, but I have succeeded in other businesses to a greater extent than I have in current times. I guess this is the challenge of leadership, but I wish I could spend more time improving other areas and not re-hashing the same things over and over and over…….
