As I am busy tackling big goals, tending to my responsibilities, and living up to my commitments to others, I have to remember to take care of myself.

This means working out and eating right, but there is more than that.  Getting enough sleep is one very important component of feeling well and keeping a positive attitude.  

Then there is just being kind to yourself.  High performers often sacrifice for their goals and take hits in the name of progress or for others; but this can be exhausting to the mind, body and spirit.  Saying no is ok.  

Take care of yourself.  In the end, it’s the best way for you to take care of others and give your gift to the world.
