The way of the master – part 3

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

At the end of life, it does not matter what you have, but rather what you have become in the attainment of your goals.

What has the setting and pursuit of your goals made of you? Did you use more of your potential in service to others? Did you become more strong and confident so as to be able to carry another? Did the pursuit make you more able and confident so that once a small mountaintop was reached, you were able to climb a larger one?

Seek mastery in the path that is yours.

Mastery requires daily work which made me think as I woke up of one of the versions of a story I was partially told. I was never told everything since it was not my place to even know about its existence so only a few small details were shared about the writers struggle to get the prince to find the magical castle and pay his dues to revive the princess and liberate her from the enchanted sleep and castle.

Andrea

First I didnt think much if the story or the struggle of another writer. Now I understand her struggle but I wonder about the story plot. If I would be the writer I would never force the prince to sacrice his life and reputation in the completion of an unbelivable quest. We are all real people but we still enjoy a nicely written action packed fairy tale.

Andrea

The prince was destined by someones hand to be the one to kiss the princess and wake her from her enchanted dream where she didnt even know she was also chosen by destiny to give meaning to the prince’s life and struggles. What a story. Some versions are written in a more exciting style presenting a more modern realistic way.
