Where do you find the time?

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

If you say “I don’t have time for that,” what you are really saying is “That’s not important to me – not as important as other things I make time for.”

Finding time for a thing is really about prioritization; you deciding what is more important to you than other things.  You make time for the things that are really important to you – right?

I totally agree with this! On occasion I am guilty of using the excuse of not having time to do something, like cleaning my kitchen or getting homework done in a timely manner. But I always make sure to admit that it’s not really that I didn’t the have time, it’s that when I had the time, that’s not what I was willing to do with it. I feel like I am fairly good at prioritizing, but there is definitely room for improvement!

Thanks for the reminder!
