Does your sales and marketing department talk about what your product is to you?  Or does it talk about what it does for your customer?  

What stories are told?  What feelings and emotions are expressed? What are you really selling?

I have been in the wonderful business of sales for over 35 years. Personal stories are the most powerful. If your sales team do not have, or use your companies products, then you are missing the boat. Sincere and true personal experiences and “passion”, that only comes with using your companies products or service, have helped me more than anything else to be successful over the years in sales.
