Sometimes I say something that really ticks a few people off. I certainly don’t mean to do that. It’s never my intention. Ever. I make no claim that I’m always right. It’s not easy to write something new that’s mostly true for most people. Everyone’s “truth” is different depending on the path they are on, or want to be on.
In my experience sometimes we hear something that may be in opposition with how we have thought or behaved for many years, and we don’t want to believe it. We defend instead. Often, when I hear a truth that makes me uncomfortable, it could be a time for a breatkthough in my thinking. And when you change your thinking, you change your life.
Consider that sometimes, what makes you (very) uncomfortable, is just what you need to hear.

Happy Birthday Larry. I love reading your words of inspiration every day… even if they may be uncomfortable I can always take something away from them. I recently started a new job that I really took because I needed a job and I was not all in. I had never been unemployed and I was desperate to find a job. I thought I was over my head and was wondering if I would even make it through my probation. I have always been a fanatic but being unemployed really did a job on my self confidence. Your inspiration made me really focus and now my confidence is back and I love this new position and I am making real contributions to my team. Thank you for doing this every day!!
