Profits drive employment

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Tell me if I’m right – A business that earns a profit will invest capital to grow and hire more employees.  A business that loses money lays people off.

Is that about right?

Businesses need to make a profit.  It’s the right thing to do.

Larry… you’re correct! My business is profitable because we hire hard-working, dedicated, creative team members to work with growth-minded clients. Because we are profitable, we can create jobs. We can (and do) support other local businesses by doing business with them. We support local charities, sponsor local events, doing our small part to make our community better for all.

If we weren’t profitable, well, you know….

We exist in a state that is hardly pro-business. I respect what you have accomplished as a Connecticut-based business, in spite of the obstacles Hartford places in our way. Onward…

Paige Cox

The government loose money every day, yet they continue to grow. I guess that means they are not a business, they only give us the business!

It’s a no brainer!
Hiring honest people with integrity is the key to profit and longevity. Hire people with the wrong intentions you will make money at first but rest assured you will lose your reputation and close your doors.
