Every year I present a sermon at our church entitled “Obituary”. It is a recollection of those who died in the past year, honoring their life and accomplishments. Last year, we put paper on the walls of our social hall and set out markers with instructions for people to complete this phrase…”Before I Die I Want to…….. This was done elsewhere and I thought it a good idea. This year I will read some of the responses and ask, “What have you done toward achieving your goal?
This might be a good exercise to assist with the writing of resolutions for the new year. “Before I Die, I Want to…”
