Build Your Confidence
There are a lot of qualities you will need to be someone who crushes goals routinely. Confidence will determine a lot. When you are confident you will try things, and others will gravitate to you in any situation. You will get opportunities less confident people don't. And hey - confidence…
Reduce the Options
The options are limitless these days. Your job is to reduce them down to ONE - and NOT the easiest thing either. Choosing the easiest, most pleasurable thing is how we get in trouble - and how we get heart disease, diabetes, and overweight and how we wind up broke. …

You can only be good playing it safe
You can be good playing it safe. But you can't be great. Safe makes you good. Chances make you great. Are you taking chances? What chances?
Not all cool ideas work out
I try lots of things. Lots of cool things - well I think they'd be cool. Trips, events, products, purchases...all kinds of stuff that may be a bit out of the ordinary (or a lot). My observation - some things are way cooler than I thought! Some things are pretty…
Is that a bad thing? We'll see….
The only survivor of a shipwreck woke up on a deserted island. He walked the perimeter looking for ships to save him, but saw none. Each day he scavenged for food and materials to build a shelter. After several weeks he managed to put together a shelter from the sun…
Change your narrative

Fear of Death

Nature heals and restores you
I love the woods. I love being outside long enough without distraction to take in the natural rhythms and peace of the wild outdoors. It clears my head and refreshes my soul. In some crowded places like Singapore they call a walk or sitting in a little patch of trees…

“Preparation will build confidence.” I love this!
The feeling of preparedness comes from getting up early or staying up late and doing your homework, studying the room and the people in it before speaking, comfort and agility in addressing the topic due to fluency in the subject matter, kindness to and acceptance of others because you know you’ve prepared to be in the moment…
There’s just so much to – and so many advantages to – being prepared; whether it be in business, personal relationships, competition, whatever. The ease in your demeanor that comes with being prepared is what I think a lot of people see as confidence. You have ‘presence’ – you ‘own the room’ so to speak.
I’m sure sure that the confidence wrought from being prepared has opened more doors for folks than raw knowledge ever has… It’s once you’re in that door that your knowledge and expertise take over and others become confident in YOU.
I also believe that your ‘imperative why’ drives your preparedness, but that’s a topic for another day…
GREAT post, Larry! You’re the BEST!!
