I love this thought provoking question! If were to act on all the thoughts that have made there way into my mind, I would be a lunatic. I would have destroyed another’s life, lost my family to an act of adultery. Hurt good friends with careless words. The list goes on and on. To capture a thought and either embrace or rebuke it. That’s where the power is!!! In God’s word we are encouraged to meditate on good moral thoughts and to flee from all sorts if evil. It was once said as a man thinketh so is he! I think it is more as a man meditates or marinates in thoughts so he is then transformed either by the renewing of his mind or the opposite. It would be great if I never had bad thoughts, but that is not reality is it?
