The purpose of a goal is not to get it, but to become the kind of person who deserves it.
The difference between a person who earned a million dollars and a person who won a million dollars in the lottery is vast.
In no time, the person who won the money will spend it foolishly and be broke again.
The person who earned it will keep it and earn more. Should it all be taken from them, they will earn it again. It’s the kind of person they are.
So strive to become the kind of person who accomplishes what you want to accomplish, do the work, and your goal will come to you.
