Give yourself a chance

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

It’s not about getting permission from anyone else.

They aren’t really thinking about you.

What you really want is outside your comfort zone.

Reaching is not about taking a chance, it’s about giving yourself one.

Dad joke
Did you hear about the carpenter who dies from drinking varnish?
He had a horrible death, but a beautiful finish

Doug Dean

Good morning Larry, I have been reading your morning emails for 15 years I believe. Thanks Doug

Kathy Martinelli

You provide a great start to my day…thank you!

George Platt

I appreciate your words of wisdom gleaned from your commitment to life-long
learning. I don’t miss a day in either one.
Blessings to you and yours!

I look forward to your daily post and have every since I met you at Comfortec years ago. Keep up the great work and thank you for all you do for the trades.

100 percent. Whether it be in business, in a relationship or just in life itself, if you don’t take a chance, you’ll never achieve anything. If you are waiting for someone to give you a chance, you’ll be waiting a long time.

Spent 45 years in the auto service business, 25 years with Honda and 20 years with Ford, as a service manager and advisor. Always provided the best customer experience as possible. I believed that the lines were there to step outside of. I received numerous awards from both companies. Taking chances is a necessary part of success.
On a personal note, I raced motocross from the age of sixteen through nineteen. Had many podiums. Got married at twenty years old and raised two great kids. Lost my great wife to cancer after 38 years of marriage. Never lost my love for motorcycles and I still riding (bike #56, a Honda Goldwing). Your passions should always be a part of your life journey.
Will be 74 years old on the 15th of this month. Age is only a number!
PS Have watched all 5 of your movies and they are awesome.

I believe success comes from stepping outside your comfort zone. Being uncomfortable in situations allows you to grow!

Give yourself permission to succeed.

Kudos for being the oldest in the riding classification and placing a remarkable 3rd!… also for ‘giving’ yourself the chance to be in the race. How many hours of prep for you and your team go into a race like this?? There must be SO many.

Josh Lowe

It’s not over until we quit. Comfort is the enemy. I just ran my first full marathon last Sunday and met my goal of under four hours!

Look forward to your daily insights and dad jokes. Here’s one: why did the chicken cross the playground?
To get to the other side!

Donna P.

No! I messed up the joke! It should be “To get to the other slide”!
