“Because”

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

If you use ‘because” it gives people a reason, and reasons give motivation.

You could ask “Would you reorder these when they get low?”

Or you could ask “Would you reorder these when they get low because if we run out, the team can’t get their work done, and we are all counting on you?”

Because is powerful.

“You should go with this option because it saves money and will last longer.”

“We should go early because if we get caught in traffic we will miss it.”

“I would always choose this because it works whether it is cold or hot”.

“Will you marry me because…”

Because gives reasons and reasons motivate.
