Your thoughts got you here. You are talking to yourself all the time.
But if you want to keep growing, you will need new and better thoughts.
You will have to let go of some ideas and narratives about yourself and the world to allow newer, updated, (conflicting) ones to enter and grow.
Hold loosely to your ideas, and be willing to let them go when you see a better one come into view.
This is growing, and maturing, and getting better.
Be humble to always appreciate the opportunity for growth. Another reason why we should make sure we are getting good inputs.
It is thoughts like this that have changed my life more than any….Thanks Larry for having the courage (TD for Business people) to go before us and relentlessly share your thoughts.
There’s a short book of that title, DBEYT… by Joseph Nguyen. He frames it in a way that resonated for me- the thoughts are involuntary mostly, they come and go, but the thinking is the choice we make. A great little read.
