There is something about people who have gone through adversity – they have a sense of strength, calm, and confidence that people who have not been tested just don’t have.
Strength and faith are built in the dark – when no one is watching.
When you are by yourself and things aren’t going well, that is when your strength can be forged.
Don’t give up.
Tell yourself the right story about your situation to avoid suffering.
Darkness is a gift, and the light beyond it is that much sweeter.
This is so true. I’ve been through a lot on my cancer journey but I refuse to allow it to define me!
So true! Another thought I like to remind myself of is you have to have bad days to recognize and appreciate the good ones. I too am very thankful for Tony Hafford!! Thank you for my daily dose of inspiration. I also appreciate YOU!!
Appreciation and perseverance, two invaluable lessons learned from facing adversity.
Heavy, true, and beautiful. Thank you for the inspirational words this morning.
Amen.
Go, Tony!
Good Morning Larry. Keep up the good work.
