Speeding yourself up is not a good strategy.

You can only solve your problems by being more efficient or speeding yourself up so much.  There is a limit to that; a breaking point. 

Running your brain around crazy fast and multi-tasking all day is not a good strategy.

Hiring well, thinking, delegation, training, and empowerment are much better strategies.

Then get your butt home by 6 pm.

Agree with this – too much speed and multi tasking is a recipe for burnout. But sometimes its necessary and makes the work day fly by.
