What do you need to do now?

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

In the book The E Myth, Michael Gerber tells us “a leader that cannot concentrate cannot discriminate.” What does that mean?

In my School of Entrepreneurship, we talk about having quiet time to learn, observe, and think. In this time, we can discern what needs to be done next. What needs to be done next changes depending on where you are and where you want to go.

Stopping to get above the “daily work” and zooming out to think is time well spent, and often saves many days, weeks or even years of going in a direction that is not quite right.

Hello Larry,
I could not agree more. In our eagerness to fulfill our ultimate value we often rush to do today that which is best left to the future. The difficult thing to do is to fill ourselves with awareness instead of business. To a busy mind every task is large, complex and difficult. Awareness simply helps us face that largeness and complexity without difficulty. Thanks for sharing.

Mike
