Self-restraint and kindness

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Leaders wield power. When you walk into your business you aren’t an average guy or gal anymore – you’re the boss. What you say to your team members and how you treat them when they are doing well or not well means a lot to them.

Having the power to crush someone with your words and NOT doing that is real power.

Be kind. People will remember the way you made them feel.

Also, please keep in mind that it is easy to act and behave exceptionally well when we are at peace but despair, unexpected blows, burning financial responsability and duty will turn anyone to loose their control and express their frustraition but that doesnt make them be a bad person. It just means they need some understanding, help and compassion. Please be kind to each other because we are all the same.

Also, remember to praise and encourage the top guys, the managers because they need it just as much as anyone else does (if not more) to keep going and pull the chariot and drive the horses.
