The Law of Compound Interest

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Motivation is common.  Endurance is rare.

The Law of Compound Interest applies not only to money, but to building a business.  In the beginning progress is slow.  You have little money, little experience, a green team, and you make mistakes.  Slowly you get a little better, and you invest what you have back in.  You make a little more progress.  Then you and your team get a little better.

If you have a good business model, and you stick with it without making critical errors (personal or business), this compounding of small numbers turns into dramatic progress relative to when you began.

The hockey stick will appear, as your just reward for your work and endurance.

Happy birthday Larry! Thanks for all you do. I hope you have a great day!

The hockey stick put a smile on my face only because I envisioned how hard is that game. Working hard and enduring only to get to play a somewhat agressive game, ugh, I personally prefer a walk in the woods as a reward and a form of relaxation or some alone time away from all the noise of the world. Recharging is important.
