Who would you bet on?

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

If you could get 10% of the income of any person around you for the rest of their life, who would you bet on?

(So if they made 10 million bucks, you’d get one million.)

Why? What qualities do they have that makes you bet on them?

Tell me what the qualities are with the comment button.

And, of course, how can you develop those qualities?

Confidence, intelligence, a calm yet powerful demeanor, drive, positivity, foresight, accountability. Oh and a winning track record wouldn’t hurt =)

Elon Musk. Exceptional vision, no excuses demeanor, unbelievable work ethic, unshakeable ethics. I have two amazing sons, Holden & Braden, that I love and believe in! They both have the qualities listed below. They just have different skills and strenths Holden is creative and will do great things in tat area When it comes to the subject of being driven by financial gain and entreprenurial success & building wealth I would bet on My Son Braden! I see that he is driven, self learning, disciplined, willing to do uncomfortable things, he believes he can do big things, he seeks counsel, he is considerate, he does not take for granted the blessing he has received from his family. He is willing to test the status quo of thinking even if it is in opposition to what he has always been told. He is his father’s Son and I have always bet on my Sons!

Chad Funk

Loyalty and teachability.

There are many people who have the qualities to: See (trends that identify needs or opportunities), Plan (a cohesive response to meeting those needs or filling those opportunities) and Do (the ability to execute their cohesive plan).

See, Plan, Do. So simple, but so complex……

I am inspired by many of my Basement Systems friends who I see doing this every day.

I would bet on my boss. He is always positive. He is not afraid to ask questions. He is not afraid to make changes to see if there is improvement, and then adapt some change and go back to what worked before. He is passionate about his business and inspires others. Because his focus is on the work and the good it is for people in need…he will always make money.

Hi Larry,
I really enjoy your blogs.
A person that I could bet on would be my hubbie.
He is like a boy scout – loyal, do good always, be prepared, and he is smart, thinks ahead, and is funny too.

Thanks,
Maude

I think creative writing is a skill that shows imagination. My husband came home for 3 days (he is an over the road trucker gone for 4 to 5 weeks at a time). He used my laptop and read some of my writing. Instead of him complimenting the skill he didnt know I had or my imagination he said it is not normal to think like that and that I should go get some help. His comment helped me make a decision.
