Multi-tasking is only for unimportant things

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

You can do two things at once, but you can’t focus on two things at once.  You can multi-task but you can’t multi-focus.

When you have too much to do for the time you have, ask “What is the MOST important and valuable thing to do now?”, and focus on that one thing.

Good morning Larry, see you at Convention in 2 weeks! That is my important ‘thing’. Cheers.

Good morning, Larry!…looking forward to Convention! See you there!

Focus is key to getting the right things done. Once I figured this out, it has been so much easier to get the most important things done. For those looking for a good book on how one can apply this to their own life I can recommend “Organize Tomorrow Today.” It is an excellent read. Sending good thoughts to you and your team for an outstanding convention.
