The big established players in any industry have a lot invested in what, where and how they sell things.  If someone is going to come along and rock their world, it’s not likely to one be them.

It’s more likely to be an outsider; a new player who doesn’t have their entire infrastructure invested in the current (old) paradigm.

When visiting a group of employees, without announcement, just because you had business in the area, it is more authentic if they say that they reviewed your case but they did not make a final decision yet instead of telling you that they did not have enough time to investigate especially when you happen to know the exact times of the multiple investigations performed.
