Many years ago ships were being overloaded in Europe and sank as they crossed the Atlantic. A guy named Plimsol had the idea to paint a line on the side of the ships hull. The ships were to be loaded until the line was at the waterline, and no more, to ensure they were not overloaded. This solved the problem.
When your responsibilities equal your capacity, you can’t do anything else – it’s all you can do to keep up. When they exceed your capacity, you are going to sink. When they are less than your capacity you have the ability to be spontaneous and even take on more.
Are you at your Plimsol line?
Our souls are strong and the mind could be used to conquer or creat many obstacles but in either case it is the body which is the weakest link in the equation.
Building protecting walls, defying the tyrany of fate, fighting for survival or giving up life, manifests itself in unusual forms and the precious energy required to maintain body functions is adjusted deepending on the choices made.
Someone said that life was a miracle and to believe, but noone really told us how to read the map, the signs or signals received.
The plimsol line is another paradox because if I wouldn’t have pushed myself the way I did to conquer the obsticles I afced, I wouldnt be here writing this message but as with everything else there is a price.
