You’re not going to solve many big problems or make many big breakthroughs running around crazy, dividing your time into packets of a few minutes or so.

Think about your problems – they can be solved in a quiet head that commits the time necessary to work it out.

“Sin Tax”

High taxes on cigarettes and liquor are supposed to discourage people from cigarettes and liquor.  Just as high taxes on income discourage people from making an income.

Tax a thing and you get less of it.

We must fight for low taxes by fighting for low government spending – so that we may be free, and not have a high percentage of our income confiscated from us.

To create such a culture it falls upon the leader first and foremost.  What example do you set and what are you willing to accept and not accept among employees and managers? 

Build an organization with a creative, productive and happy subculture amongst your people and you’ll accomplish much more, much faster, with less problems.

Explaining Success

How successful you are = how successfully you helped others.

How successfully you helped others = how much they voluntarily did business with you for their own self serving reasons.

How much they voluntarily do business with you for their own self serving reasons = how much value you provided for the price you charge compared to what other value at what other prices was available in that marketplace at that time.

Does that make it clear?

Agents of Change

Entrepreneurs are agents of change.  By figuring out how to advance your mission, you are forced to figure out how help others advance toward what they want.  In this way, the world gets better for others because of you.

Entrepreneurs will always be people who make the world a better place. 

Deadlines are good

A task will take up about as much time as you allow for it.  A hard deadline motivates and even forces you to make progress faster.  Sometimes you have to welcome the pressure – it’s what you needed.
