CYA Culture

When employees fear the people they work with and for, they have no choice to protect themselves.  Gossip, office politics, blame, and covering your butt become the dominant activites.  It's no fun and not productive. Do your people trust who they work with?

Be Strategic

Today, don't just fill your schedule doing "any old stuff" - tasks that need to be done and take up time; tasks that you've done so many times before. Be strategic.  What are the key things you need to do to make the future better in a significant way?

When an opportunity is not one

Businesspeople get approached about new opportunities all the time.  If you chase the wrong one it can waste years of time and precious resources. When an opportunity is not in your strength zone, it's not an opportunity.   Stay in your strengths.

"All in" – on what?

If you're the type of person who goes all in, (and you should be), be sure to pick the right thing for you to go all in on. What are you "All in" on?

Stealing from sleep time

To much to do (have to or want to)?  We often steal time from sleep.  This leaves us tired.  What do we do to maintain our energy if we are tired?  Eat and drink a lot of (the wrong) stuff.  Then we are more tired and gain weight. Getting enough…
