Get in your happy (thinking) place

When I am doing a project or writing, I often like to play music that gets me in the zone I need to be in to do my best work.  I call it my "Thinking Music".  It's music I don't have to think about - with no vocals.  I'll play…

Zoom out and look back at yourself

"You can't see the label when you're inside the jar" - Clay Hebert Leadership is the ability to influence others.  If they don't think much of you, they will resist your influence.  If they think highly of you, you'll be able to influence them easily because they trust you and…

Political Ideologies

Totalitarian Communism - you have two cows.  You have to take care of them and then the government takes all the milk. Feudalism - You have two cows.  You take care of them and your Lord takes some of the milk. Communism - You have two cows.  The government takes…

Don't worry

Worry is suffering in advance of something that might happen, or that likely will never happen. Resolve to accept the worst if it happens.  Once you do that you don't have to worry anymore, and you can go to work to create a better-than-worst-case outcome.
