When you lie, you give away all your credibility. Nobody wants to do business with you anymore (or employ you) because they can’t trust you.
Saying you made a mistake or that you don’t get it, or simply explaining your predicament is better than lying.
Way better.
Way way better.
It takes a long time to build that trust back…
