You’re the king (or queen).  You call the shots.

Do your employees worry about rules and policies designed to “correct behaviors”? 

Or do they feel they are in an environment that expects them to DO THEIR BEST and are free to do so?

How do you set up an environment like that? It is nice to have flexibility, to be able to accomodate different minds but there has to be a structure set up that enables that kind of flexibility while still ensures production. The managers and the way they think is extremelly important but they are people too.

Is the goal to make people happy or is it to become as happy as possible while working towards a set goal?
