The (manager, leader, CEO, etc.) who is not very good, makes dumb calls, or is protecting his turf – who you have to listen to because they have the title…
We need leaders. Lots of good leaders.
But do your leaders have titles because they are good, or are they leaders merely because they have titles?

Great post, Larry 👍 I’ve said for decades that all leaders are managers at some point (manage their vision, manage progress, manage themselves, etc), but it’s the rare, valuable, and exceptional (titled) manager who is a leader. When you find one, keep them on the team…
