Responding well is what you CAN do

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

You cannot control all events.

Thinking that everything will go as you planned or expected will only set you up for disappointment and frustration.

When things don’t go well, it is your response that will determine how much suffering will result for you and others, and whether the event is a stepping stone to a better outcome.

When something bad happens, you don’t have to wallow in it for long.

Stay composed in the storm.

Accept what is.

Then speak and act well to make it better.

We are grateful for David too. 🙏

Nothing bad ever happens. Only unpleasant things that were unexpected. We won’t see the good at first and it will seem bad but everything works together for good for those who look for the good and live with purpose.
