Rules for your logo

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Here are my rules for your logo; the graphic image for your company –

1) It must tell what you do. (You aren’t Amazon or Nike; you can’t get away with an a or a swoosh)

2) It must inspire trust. (less important if your product does not cost a lot or if you are selling “fun” or “cool”)

3) It must be MEMORABLE.  This is the hardest one.

Does your graphic image check these boxes?

Hi Larry- these rules of the road are branded (haha) into my mind and I use them at every chance I get. It helps define something that is very conceptual (a brand) and gives it a starting point and a structure to fill. It’s the best lesson I ever received.
