It’s so simple.
People either want to please the boss or love to be praised by him/her. In fact, everyone loves praise from anyone.
So when people do a good job, or just a part of their job well, tell them. Thank them. Say “great job”.
If you want to step it up, say it in public around others, or give them a note.
What you praise will be repeated!
