AI is here.
It is not going away.
It will change many things.
Pay attention. Start using it.
Download the Chat GPT app or the Claude app and start asking questions.
Tell it all about your business and what problems you have and ask for solutions and ideas. Probe further.
You can say “Talk to me like I am a 12-year-old.” “What would Steve Jobs do with my business?” “How can I grow 10X in 3 years?” “How do I do ____________?” Ask and keep asking. Give it context. Load your financials. Ask questions.
There is a setting you can make so it does not use whatever you load in to learn with and provide that information to others.
You can do amazing things. You can do things you could not do before. You can save hundreds or thousands of hours.
If you have not done it yet, start playing. Give it your most urgent problems to assist you in solving.
Everyone is getting on board.
Don’t be left behind.

Thank you Larry! Our company’s been using AI as you outline in your post with great success. I forwarded your blog to the team to reinforce and further expand our use of it. Thank you for your daily posts, enjoyed them for years, and share them often.
Thank you Ross Mannuzzo for introducing me to Think Daily and Larry. The Butterfly Effect in action, this one introduction and the thousand plus Think Daily posts I’ve read, has had a major positive impact on my life!
We are implementing AI slowly but deliberately. My intention with AI is to improve our services, improve our productivity, improve our quality, improve our profits and reduce the efforts needed for mundane tasks. Regulations add a lot of overhead burden but I see AI as a way to reduce that. My goal is not to eliminate people though as I believe there is a benefit to having people working for us rather than machines. However, the combination of people using machines to improve their output is a good thing! We have been doing this for years when we switched to electric power tools, then to battery power tools and cell phones instead of pagers and land-lines, to name only a few. AI is just another tool and if used responsibly it can improve the standard of living for everyone.
OR, don’t use AI. There are countless reasons not to. Loading your personal, business, and financial information into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or the LLM du jour, is risky business. Rest assured, your data will be used against you, and it will be used to inform competitors—regardless of whether you check that little box. AI will give you temporary productivity gains at your long-term expense, like taking out a second mortgage gives you cash. AI is a race to the bottom. Do you want to win the race to the bottom? Wanton use of AI is playing with fire. Use caution.
