Happy New Year!

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

It’s 2026!  What will you do this year?

I always make a card and have it facing me on my desk, showing my goals for the year.  I highlight them as I achieve them.

I’m doing some simplification, and looking at execution and finishing rather than starting new things.

What’s on your goal card?

Happy New Year!
First I will highlight a goal accomplished for 2025 which was to take off considerably more time around the holidays to spend with family! It was great!
My overriding business goal for this year is to hone my business systems for efficiency. Get more done right, less done wrong and all with less effort!

Larry,
Have you read From Strength to Strength by Albert Brooks? I just did and it gave me some new things to think about.

Stabilized after a move to our new building last January, and well rested after time off for the holidays, we’re ready for a fantastic 2026! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I love your idea of keeping a goal card visible it’s such a simple yet powerful way to stay intentional. This year, my focus is on execution and consistency, much like you mentioned. I want to continue to turn plans into measurable results and finish strong on the projects already in motion.
On my goal card, I’ve written:

Professional Growth – Completing advanced project management training.
Process Improvement – Streamlining workflows for better efficiency.
Personal Development – Building habits that support clarity and energy, publish my first book.
Community Impact – Hosting more events to coach and mentor others.
Wishing everyone a year of focus and fulfillment!
