I tell my team, we are not servicing a house, we are servicing a person who owns that house.
No matter what you do, or service, you are serving a person.
Ask questions, listen, build a relationship, and please or thrill that person, and they will come back and bring their friends.
And Adirondack Basement Systems is grateful for you!
Great message! I feel like I serve in all walks of life. To me, serving is my only job!
100%, You are providing an experience. You can’t provide an experience to a house. The house has no feelings. The customer is the one experiencing it all.
Serve people at the highest level, and better then your competitors and you will win!
I literally had this same thought this morning. We get so caught up in the mechanics of what we do, we lose sight of the fact that people need and want to feel good about buying from us. It’s all about customer service, no matter the industry.
As I heard someone say many years ago, “No matter what business you are in, you are in the service business.” At the end of the day most people will pay extra for good service and value service over quality and affordability.
