Willis Ponds commented – “Imagine how much better you became by writing TD over the years.”
By trying, by doing, over and over, day after day, week after week, year after year, I developed my thoughts and my voice.
Writing Think Daily has made me a better trainer, a better thinker, a better leader, and helped me deal with things that go on in my head and my life.
I can’t make this kind of commitment in many areas of life because it takes plenty of time. But this area suits me. I like it, so it doesn’t feel like hard work like it would otherwise.
We all have things we are good at that we like to do, and that we can develop to be REALLY good at with continued practice – the kind of practice we WANT to do.
What have you really mastered, or are you on your way to mastering?
Tell me with the orange button!
We’re all better because you write TD daily. I think my greatest mastery has been the art of expressing to our people that they really matter to me/us. I think our greatest accomplishment in this network is the fact that we are successful because of the people we attract. Treating our people with respect, and them knowing that they can count on, and trust us, really matters to me. I appreciate you letting us have a voice through TD too!
I have began to set time aside daily, just to think, read and learn. This allows me to build myself daily and become more grounded and certain in who I am. Doing this more importantly helps me stay in touch with my purpose.
Your commitment to Think Daily is impressive. I think most people believe high-quality writing comes through “moments of inspiration” or flashes of “creative genius” but it’s the daily execution of writing that sharpens the skill and produces words that matter for others.
My work mastery goals focus on how to deploy strategic planning to tactical activities in all areas of the organization to achieve goals and objectives. These are customer centric.
On a personal level I am learning music theory and how to play jazz trumpet with improvisation.
Mastering my listing presentation and asking questions vs. telling.
Practicing patience’s and flexibility through fatherhood.
Grateful that you take time to do Think Daily.
Dear Larry,
I would like to commend you on your exceptional work, which I read daily. You inspire me to elevate my self-awareness and dedication to the highest possible level in my endeavors.
I am currently developing an “aging in place” business model designed to address the comprehensive needs of elderly clients who wish to remain in their homes. This model integrates energy efficiency measures with all available state grants and incentives. I recently completed my initial deep-clean retrofit for a client with severe disabilities and am now collaborating with a professional Aging in Place Organizer. The organizer will design the home with essential safety and practical features, enabling the client to continue living independently. This project has been a profoundly rewarding experience.
Please continue your inspiring work.
Sincerely,
Michael Bennett
