You could tell someone why they need to change – but they will resist.
Instead, ask them why they might want to change, and let them convince themselves.
Inlfuence with questions, not statements or demands.
Let it be their choice.
People will buy in to their own answers.
I enjoy your emails and have since you first started writing them. We can relate we with what you are writing about.
Excellent content this morning. I always investigate prior to getting deep in a conversation. We’re all very lucky to have Mark Daconto in our lives.
I know I don’t comment much but reading TD every morning is a highlight for me. Relatable, insightful and very powerful thoughts that allow us a glimpse of all the knowledge you have gained over the years. I appreciate the time and effort you put into this for us, at no charge!

Yes! It is a daily dose of insight which lifts (y)our greater community. And lifts you, as you’ve written in the past.
Questions are a highly underrated leadership tool.
Go, Mark!
I’ve got a friend that needed to see this mornings blog on forgiveness but I wasn’t sure how to approch him…and then your second blog I read about using influence with questions, not statements hit home!! Thanks for all the time invested, keep writing, I read them every morning!
I love reading “Think Daily” every morning, and my day would be missing something if I didn’t. I hope you continue to bring your insight and inspiration to us. Thank you for all you do….
What other platform can you impact so many people? There is no doubt TD has helped a ton of people lead better, happier, more fulfilling lives. Keep writing Larry!
Love today’s message. Additionally, I am also thankful for Mark!
I for one truly do appreciate the daily reminders, even though some subjects are covered many times, but from slightly different angles. I quote you and your thoughts, and from the other Wise people whom you bring attention to.
However, for any relationship to be truly beneficial, it has to be good for both parties.
If you’re spending this big chunk of your week is helping you, if this time spent helps you and your journey, and fantastic. Keep on!
On the other hand with your new responsibilities and new situations in life… if this no longer aligns with your life-goals, energies, time, and doesn’t make you happy, I’d rather see you just occasionally send something out as you see fit. We don’t want you to burn out so if you choose to throttle it back to once or twice a week I would understand, I think most everyone would understand.
Think Daily is something I look forward to and appreciate daily. It’s genuine and practical; I often share your thoughts with others in my world.
Keep writing and Thank You!
I’m curious, why would you consider not to continue writing Think Daily?
Continue writing, please! Few people have all the elements of success organized as you do… and the ability to crisply communicate bite-size pieces of the puzzle. IMHO, you are bringing incredible value to the world with your blog. Thank you!
Yes, your messages are thought provoking and that is what I need in this world of business and life. You always get a message across that makes so much sense and I take it to heart as you have experienced as much ups and downs as the rest of us and speak truthfully about it.
Great message today! Ask and you shall receive!
Think Daily is such a great and useful collection of wisdom and insight and I am certain it speaks to many people in a positive way every day. I think you should continue to write it as long as you are able because as long as any of us has something left in us to share, we should share it. However, I know it’s a huge undertaking and if you were to cut back to once per week due to time or other constraints I would still appreciate it and enjoy it just as much! Also, there is nothing wrong with recycling your messages. Some who have not been on here as long and others (like myself) may not remember or have seen a post from the past and it can have a positive impact all over again by reposting.
I asked my sister if she is building a better version of herself and she said no, why would I be doing that? It didn’t go well. Some people don’t want to change and like the version they bring each day.
The number one reason for choosing continuing to write TD (from my seat) is for me, and the other readers. I have to imagine you see the benefit for yourself in the way it helps you crystallize your think and articulating it so others can understand it. One of the best ways to gain mastery is to teach.
Hi Larry , please continue to write Think Daily. It’s very motivating and uplifting for me . Thank you !!
Your writings contribute much to understanding life. Thank you.
Keep going, because these messages open my mind and can change the trajectory of the day in a positive way. How cool is that!!
Yes you should continue Think Daily, because you offer great positive content. I’ve included it with my daily prayers. Since I know your accomplishments, it’s motivating to read this coming from thank you for giving this to us.
Please keep writing Think daily. Wisdom needs an outlet. That which flows to you must continue to follow through you to have it’s ultimate effect. The ripple effect of Think Daily impacts people and inspires thought in places you could never reach in other venues.
