What would you think of a leader who took all the credit when things went right, and placed the blame on others when they went wrong?
Right…..so you don’t become that leader who is not respected and nobody wants to listen to anymore, you should do the opposite.
Give away the credit, and take the blame, or at least share it.
You can accomplish amazing things when you don’t care who gets the credit.
Is that you?
Welcome Matt Gaskin! A guy who I like to give all the blame and who deserves all the credit!
I love that quote, “There is no limit to what one can accomplish if they don’t care who gets the credit”. There is no doubt in my mind that every time something goes wrong I am at least a little to blame, because I am the leader. Either I didn’t give proper instructions, didn’t provide proper resources, didn’t give proper oversight, or some other reason that led to the poor outcome. By the same token, I can set everything into motion perfectly and have a perfect outcome but it would never happen without the help of other people.
