All things "Basementy!"

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

My company has been the leader in our business for a long time.  Our competitors would come and go, and use parts of our name and copy our ad headlines.  The public would get confused and think they were us and there was nothing we could do about it because the words were generic.

Then I invented a word that would be uniquely ours that we could trademark.  It was very short and told them about all our services (basement waterproofing, crawl space repair, basement finishing and foundation structural repair).  Our audience would know it was US very quickly everytime, even if they weren’t “looking” for us at the time they saw our message.  It was “sticky”!

I have a 22 year baseline before using this 3 years ago – and it works like crazy!

What is the word or words that you own?

Your advertising method makes me crazy.i would never call anyone who uses a word not in the dictionary. Your TV advertisements at so stupid, I would never call anyone so unprofessional as someone jumping up and down saying saying basements. Please spare the TV audience from such a ridiculous ad!
