Yes, but the universe always remembers how many times you messed up and it only allows so many tries before our time runs out. Once it is gone it is gone and there is nothing you can do to buy the missed opportunity back.
Every choice or action we make has consequences that we are responsible for. The problem starts when people fail to think about the outcome of their action. You may get a valuable shine object but you loose valuable resuorces that people think are inexhaustible. Noone seems to care about what happens with the shine object after you played your game.
