No single factor affects the results of a business more than the leader.  How the leader thinks will determine how the business goes.

If you're the leader, the only job as important as working on your business - is working on you.

While you may not realize it at the time, they're nothing more than steps forward.

If you are bored, dull, uninspired and lazy - you're business will be too.

How are ya?

For many thousands of years man has waited for his chance.  When personal safety wasn't a worry - peace would prevail.

When there was equal opportunity for all, even if you weren't close to the king.

When there was rule of law so nobody could violate your personal rights that were finally recognized.

When there were property rights, so your possessions and earnings could not be taken from you.

And when we could stand on the backs of giants with an abundance of resources, communication and transportation.

That time has come.

Your chance is now.

Leaders that are in a comfortable routine can rarely initiate and lead positive change. Change the people YOU hang out with, and the places (in your business and elsewhere) you hang out, and the work that YOU do to give birth to new ideas and give perspectives to your organization and how you think about it.

As the leader goes, so does the business.

Do you really want to argue that you can't do anything about your situation?  Do you really want to make the case that someone else has control over you or is holding you down?

Do you really want to win that argument?

Why make it then?

If your business keeps doing what it's doing the way it's doing it with the people you have now, what will it be like in 5 years?

Are you happy with that?

(In a country that embraces liberty and continues to protect it...)

There is no "Man" holding us down.  No "System" stacked against us.  If you think there is, you behave as if there is and sell yourself short.  If you want to make excuses, there will always be ones you can talk yourself into believing.

You have the power to rise up above your current condition, whatever that may be, if you WANT it bad enough to do what it takes.

It's all you.

Not what's most urgent - what's one thing that you need to do (that you've likely been procrastinating) that will have the greatest LONG-TERM impact on your business?

Forget everything else and GET ON IT!

"Once I _____, then I'll be happy."  Then you get it, and you're still not happy.  "Well, once I ____, then I'll really be happy."

There's little you can do to make yourself happy for long. 

Remove from your mind and life what makes you unhappy instead.  What's left will make you happy.
