Larry Janesky: Think Daily

That’s not going to happen.  There will be people who give unfair commentary because they want to build themselves up by tearing someone else down.  And people who aren’t face to face with you – on the internet or gossiping to each other have looser lips.  Ignore them.

“The trick is not caring what EVERYBODY thinks of you, and just caring about what the RIGHT people think of you.”  – Brian Michael Bendis

Great point Larry.. Everyone…absolutely everyone should grasp that!!

So, for a long long time I wanted nothing to do with pets. Not because I hate animals, I just did not want the responsability and the attachement. Multiple people from my extended family made fun of me, yet the same people had multiple pets they got rid of once they were no longer convenient. Today, I live with two pets surrounding me daily. A white Bijon Frise and a black cat. None of them are mine but I still would not hurt them. I am more of a dog person but the black kitty loves me because I play with her. She was 6 weeks old when she arrived and I cudled her too much because she kept following me around. Was I such a bad person for recognizing that I did not want an attachment or the responsability? We do not have to follow others and have or do something just because everyone else does.
