Living in the box of a small world – a triangle between home and work and the mall, is going to limit our world view and our inspiration.
Go away for a while every now and then. Experience new places and new things. When we come back, we are different, and so is that triangle.

I love the adventure of seeing new places. Fortunately I am able to do that pretty often. New ideas and new thinking. Sometimes if I am not traveling I will simply drive a different route to a “usual” place and even that can create some new thoughts.
I used to travel to Latin America frequently. Whenever I got back I would marvel at how much I appreciate Building Codes, Engineering Standards and the like.
We live in a great country that attempts to make sure we stay safe.
This time I didn’t really have to go far to find a tiny hidden bird watching shed looking out at a pond erected in Beth Roots honor. I remember going home feeling like I discovered a hidden castle. Funny how small discoveries have a way of brightening up our day or providing a perfect quiet reading place.
