Purpose in Life

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

It has been my observation that people who are sad, depressed and have little energy, are people that have no sense of purpose. They have no big goals, no passions, and no purpose outside themselves.

Having something that is important to you, a mission, a reason to be, that you go for every day, fills holes in your soul and spirit, and gives you energy to chase away worry, fear and self-pity.

How about you?

No greater truth exists imho

Michael

This is such a great reminder and with much personal experience. Several years ago I lost the things that meant the world to me, my daughters and marriage. With my wife choosing a very different lifestyle, and moving she and my daughters more than 2,000 away, the bottom fell out of my world. The very skills and talents I was passionate about, and had built a career on, were now of little or no interest. I was in a pretty good funk for a little bit. Realizing that certain things were beyond my control, and focusing on things I could control, I created a new world, new goals, passions and a new life that included some of the old passions. This has helped fill the void, heal the soul and interestingly ignite new and exciting ventures all because of finding a greater purpose and mission in my life and daring to rise up and make it happen. Thank you for your think daily!

This is all so true. I’ve been there before. It isn’t easy to get out of. Hold your head up high like you are someone special because you are. Start walking a little each day, you will see the difference.
You will be suprized how much better each day, something about the fresh air.

I wish it was that simple
