I used this with my children, and still use it with myself. When I think or hear “I can’t do that” I turn it around to, “What can I do?” And when I think or hear “I don’t know how to do that” I turn it around to, “What do I know?” It’s amazing how much those simple changes in thought and word help me move forward when I’m feeling stuck.
