The greatest majority of the things we worry about will never come true, and the rest we can’t do anything about.
Worry is a misuse of our imagination.

Hi Larry-
Thanks for the don’t worry! message. Sometimes (like this very moment) I take myself too seriously, so that reminder to chill out was just what I needed this morning.
Have a great day!

I was taught that what we focus on expands. It’s tough to put worry aside. I need a strategy at those times. If I can’t actively do something to ease the worry, I tell myself “I won’t think about it for 10 minutes.” That gets me unstuck and on to something more positive.

Several years ago I heard the thought, “you can’t tell me worrying doesn’t help. The things I worry about never happen”.
While given in jest, this thought is often true.
Worrying really is just negative thinking. Thanks for another great thought!
