Why worry?

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

The greatest majority of the things we worry about will never come true, and the rest we can’t do anything about.

Worry is a misuse of our imagination.

Don’t worry!  Go forward!

Great job on Doctor Energy Saver -It has been fun to watch it grow (I heard the announcement in the office yesterday).

Phillip Hanbury

Hello. Should we apply this same advice to politicians, tax, pensions, etc??? Just checking.

Curt Jones

Without the worrying our self confidence will naturally increase.

Hi Larry-

Thanks for the don’t worry! message. Sometimes (like this very moment) I take myself too seriously, so that reminder to chill out was just what I needed this morning.

Have a great day!

I was taught that what we focus on expands. It’s tough to put worry aside. I need a strategy at those times. If I can’t actively do something to ease the worry, I tell myself “I won’t think about it for 10 minutes.” That gets me unstuck and on to something more positive.

It takes the same amount of energy to worry as it does to think positive It’s my choice Thanks Larry Have a great day

“Worrying does’nt empty tomorrow of it sorrows, it empties today of your stength.” – Cory Ten Boom. I love this saying because Cory Ten Boom was a Holocaust survivor so the meaning speaks volumes.

Several years ago I heard the thought, “you can’t tell me worrying doesn’t help. The things I worry about never happen”.

While given in jest, this thought is often true.

Worrying really is just negative thinking. Thanks for another great thought!

Bernadine

Perfect message for me to hear today! Thanks!
