When we increase sales by a dollar, by the time that dollar goes through all the business processes and cost to deliver the product, we increase profits by 10 cents. But when we decrease costs by a dollar, we add a dollar to profits.

Hard to argue with that statement, so if we were to replace the words “sales, profits and costs” with the word taxes and the word business with the word government, the arguement should be just as hard… right???
