Concentrated Benefits/Diffused Costs

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Groups with a common special interest will fight for their benefit/action from the government.  The government will spread the costs across a much wider population through overt or hidden taxation schemes.  Since it’s just a small cost to each (or no cost to the 46% of workers who pay no net tax at all), the people paying the bill don’t fight against it.  Today, the people that are paying for it are in elementary school or unborn.

We are 17 trillion in debt. It’s the greatest inter-generational theft in the history of the world.

Is it time to limit the size and scope of government as it was intended when designed?

Our children and there children’s children’s are being robbed of a good life as we now know if we don’t stand up and end this excessive government and it’s policies

Why aren’t more people concerned about this? When will we start hearing from those who are?
Either people are not speaking out, or they are not being heard. Is this a result of media corruption?

Greg Davis

I absolutely agree with you Larry!

Not paying income tax isn’t the same as not paying tax, period.

Great summation of what’s going on

Whether a dem or rep all interesting points that make us take pause and truly think about where we are as a country.

The definition of the word conundrum is: something that is puzzling or confusing.

Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America :

1. America is capitalist and greedy – yet half of the population is subsidized.
2. Half of the population is subsidized – yet they think they are victims.
3. They think they are victims – yet their representatives run the government.
4. Their representatives run the government – yet the poor keep getting poorer.
5. The poor keep getting poorer – yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about – yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

Think about it! And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century.
Makes you wonder who is doing the math.

These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.

2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money? What’s interesting is the first group “worked for” their money, but the second didn’t. Think about it…..

3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens?

Am I the only one missing something?

Larry, Maybe this is your next book. Look into the cards and show us all what is the correct direction now and where we will be in 50 years. You have the footprint form your current book.

Call me for my further opinion.

Thanks,
